Operator/Inspector Soldering Course

This intensive hands-on skills training course addresses initial assembly and soldering and rework of Terminals, Through-hole and SMT assemblies.

Omni Training's course consists of instructor's lectures and hands-on demonstrations based on the requirements of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001 and IPC-7711 (Class 3 High Reliability). Students will assemble and solder practice workmanship samples, which are continuously assessed throughout the course. Comprehension of the technical information presented is verified by the students completion of written and inspection examinations. Final workmanship samples will be evaluated and graded. Students with scores of 70% or better on the examinations and workmanship samples will be awarded an Omni Training Certificate of Completion.

The Certificate will indicate the Class duration, the quality standards used and the completion date of the Class. The student's approved workmanship samples, examination results and Certificate usually provide the necessary documentation to satisfy ISO-9000 and other third party requirements.
